Practice Schedule

Practice at the stadium will be available Wednesday and Thursday starting at 8 a.m.

Sign up will be available Tuesday afternoon at the practice field and on  Wednesday at the stadium. The practice field will be open
starting Monday at 8 a.m. It is across the street from the stadium and will be set up like the trial field.

Maps will be at the hotels.

Obedience practice at the stadium will be from 8 a.m.  to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Protection practice will start at 1 p.m. each day and continue until 5 p.m.

Each competitor is allocated 5 minutes in obedience and 5 minutes in protection. Competitors may sign up for both days.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Monday, March 31st

  • Practice at the practice field across from stadium 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.    (Maps to field at the hotels)                 
  • (No one allowed on this field until Monday. Contact Host Club for practice field  before Monday.)

 
Tuesday, April 1st

  • Practice at the Practice Field 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, April 2nd

  • Stadium Practice starts at  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.   (Obedience 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.;   Protection starts at 1 p.m.  to 5 p.m. ) each competitor has 5 minutes per phase.  

Thursday, April 3rd

  • Board Meeting at Senior Citizens Bldg. (2nd Floor) at 8 a.m.
  • Stadium Practice starts at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  (Obedience 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.;   Protection starts at 1 p.m.  to 5 p.m. )
  • Helpers Selection at 4 p.m. on alternate field next to stadium.
  • Draw Night and Welcoming the Judges at Senior Citizens Bldg.   (Cocktails and Appetizers start at 7 p.m. Draw starts at 7:30 p.m.)

 

Friday, April 4th

  • Competition Starts at  7 a.m. at the Stadium.    (IPO 1's and IPO 2's  WILL START THE COMPETITION OFF ON FRIDAY MORNING)
  •  Tracking Starts at 7:30 am. Competitors must meet at Austin’s Restaurant 30  minutes before their flight time. Maps to Austin’s will be at hotels and the stadium.
  • FH Team Challenge Tracking starts at 2 p.m. (Maps and instructions will be available at the draw)

 Saturday, April 5th                                                                   

  • Competition Starts at 7 a.m. at the stadium.
  •  Tracking Starts at 7:30  a.m.

 
Sunday, April 6th

  •  Competition starts at 7 a.m.
  •  Tracking starts at 7:30
  •  Closing ceremony following last flight of the day.

 

PER THE CITY OF GADSDEN AND HOSTING CLUBS, NO ONE IS ALLOWED ON THE STADIUM FIELD OR TRIAL TRACKING FIELDS BEFORE EVENT SCHEDULE STATES. ANYONE VIOLATING THIS RULE  WILL BE DISMISSED.
